Once again this year the residents of Portumna Retirement Village have submitted paintings for display at the Shorelines Arts Festival exhibition. This year the gallery was located in the workhouse and the residents were very proud to have their efforts displayed.

In addition to various individual pieces, there was a joint collaboration submitted by way of a collage depicting a peacock completed by numerous residents that attracted very positive comments from visitors to the gallery.

When the exhibition is over the pieces are due to be returned to the nursing home for permanent dispaly.
