The festive season broght great excitment to Portumna Retirement Village. The residents enjoyed gettign involved in decorating their rooms and the nursing home for Christmas. many stories were told of Christmas times in the past and tales of the hard work involved in getting ready for the big day.

There was a packed schedule of entertainment over the Christmas with visits from the local Comhaltas group, the wonderful Stepanie Power School of Dancing, and the Omna Singers.
